I hope they stay true and do footwear of the Pitkin caliber, even at $180, I think we all have enough choices of merrell/vasque/garmont/patagonia....... that look a lot like this shoe. Plus most of us in the biz have a limited customer base, so if I want to sell shoes to my customers I would rather sell 200 pair at $180 that 200 pr at $90.
I am waiting to see the line with high hopes.

I went into my local shoe store the other day and was disapointed to see that their previously well stocked and interesting store had 'sold out' to poplular demand- 80% Keen, and Merrell, shoes. I'm sure they had no choice-you have to sell what people want. It no longer matters to me-I'm well stocked on Chaco shoes and boots now. I have five pairs!
